This seerlingly candid account of the actual happenings in and around the "fairytale" life of fame and fortune of Nat King Cole, are taken from the private journals of Nat King cole, and excluisve interviews with the widow of Nat King Cole, Maria Cole, as well as contributions from other family members. Some of these shocking stories have never been told before, and they speak to a wider truth of the national climate at the time, and beg the question " how far have we come" to be answered..

Bad Company

The film opens to the vibrating echo of a helicopter which is landing at a BAD COMPANY concert. An ariel view of the massive Stadium, heaving with fans - cut to a shot from back of the stage at a heaving and delirious audience, enter Bad Company - kicking into their anthem : 'BAD COMPANY'....
This film tells the incredible story of one of the original Super-groups, (that sprung from FREE, MOTT THE HOOPLE and KING CRIMSON). They came together to create a powerful true rock sound and spirit imprinted upon the 1970’s.
Through archive and (previously unseen)behind-the-scenes-footage this first-ever BAD COMPANY documentary film uncovers the truth ex. behind early management, as they were guided and controlled by the heaviest manager in the business, Peter Grant ( known as 'G'), who had already governed the mighty 'Led Zeppelin' - who went on to become the largest (audience) draw in the world. The rise and fall of Peter Grant, and the death John Bonham, 'BONZO', speak to the destructive power of cocaine, which threads its way through the undercurrent of the story at this point.
The empire came to an end. The relentless touring of Bad Company ceased, and the individual members went their separate ways to pursue other paths.
Eventually, the four members reunited - sadly, Peter Grant died, followed by the shocking death of 'Boz', Bad Company’s Bass player - after which the remaining three members carry Bad Company to this day : Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke, and Mick Ralphs - all participate in and support this candid film, as do contemporaries Brian May(Queen), Zoot Money, Sam Moore ( Sam & Dave), Joe Elliot( Def Leppard), Jason Bonham, and others... all celebrating some of the hottest rock anthems to come out of the 70's.
This film is completely supported by the original music of all Bad Company’s major hit tracks.
The complete story has now been captured, in 90 minutes for Television Broadcast + 120 minutes DVD including the extras of previously unseen archive of Bad Company, a gallery of iconic photographs and extended interviews as well.
